Dr. Chris Swanson
Dr. Chris Swanson enjoys all aspects of primary eye care. He specializes in ocular disease diagnosis and management as well as specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Swanson grew up in Southwest Oklahoma and has family ties in the area. The Swanson family’s Oklahoma ranching history dates back to 1907. After graduating high school in Hobart, Oklahoma, Dr. Swanson attended Oklahoma State University and graduated from Northeastern with a degree in Cell Biology in 1995. While attending the NSU College of Optometry, he received the award for “Excellence in the Treatment of Ocular Disease” and the “Presidents Award for Leadership.”
Dr. Swanson and his wife, Ashley, have three children: Jake, Josh, and Ava. Dr. Swanson enjoys serving in his local church and also serves on the board of SW Oklahoma FCA. His family enjoys spending time at the lake, snow skiing, and helping out at the family farm.
